Corpus boundary — Nietzsche v1
Per how_to_build_nietzsche.md step 1: fixed before any extraction.
Included
- Beyond Good and Evil (1886, late) — PROOF WORK, corpus assembled
(sources/bge.json: preface + aphorisms 1-296; DE Gutenberg #7204 /
EN Zimmern #4363 / RU Polilov ru.wikisource PD-old). - Next (sources verified PD, not yet fetched):
- Thus Spoke Zarathustra — DE #7205 / EN Common #1998 / RU Антоновский
(ru.wikisource). Requiresspeaker:metadata (author vs character). - Twilight of the Idols — DE #7203 / RU Полилов (ru.wikisource);
EN Ludovici is US-only PD → EN reference-only or MT from DE.
- Thus Spoke Zarathustra — DE #7205 / EN Common #1998 / RU Антоновский
Included separately, marked
- Prefaces (
section_type: preface), prologues, author self-characterizations. - Letters: secondary context only, never soul core — not in v1.
Excluded
- The BGE closing poem «Aus hohen Bergen» (EN is a free Magnus rendering,
not alignable; poems out of v1 scope). - Nachlass as primary evidence.
- «Der Wille zur Macht» sister-compiled editions.
- Internet quote collections / «лучшие цитаты» without edition trace.
- Modern translations (Kaufmann, Hollingdale, Свасьян) — not PD.
Reason
Published works are the stable primary source; Nachlass needs its own
editorial policy; the reception around Nietzsche is meme-distorted, so
everything without an edition trace stays out of the evidence pool.
